Post by BuckGB »

After sorting through the nominations and hearing from those members interested in becoming a moderator, I have brought the list to a total of five possible candidates. Please vote on who you would like to see become the next Speak Your Mind moderator!

Whoa.....Why am I up there? Im interested in mod for Morrowind if you need it, but for SYM? I dunno. No one picked me. And SYM is a pretty big place to police, so Im not sure if I want to take that responsibility. :D

Sorry Tybaltus, I was under the impression that you were interested in the SYM moderator position. I have taken you out of the poll =).

I don't see any Bush idiot on the ballot, so there's no one for the Supreme Court to appoint the loser.

Buck, are you related to any on the canidates? This way we'll know to expect tech glitches in the voting and the person in last place will become the new mod. :D

If there are, I'd like to change my vote to Lynda Carter.

EDIT:
@Buck:
I live in West Virginia, where the runner-up state motto is "Vote early, vote often" and the poll already says that I voted. How do I fulfill my civic duties and vote again? We also have a long and glorious tradition of extending the vote to dead people, so I'd like to cast proxy votes for all of GameBanshee's banned members. Ain't American democracy (West Virginia style!) great?

@HLD:

How very interesting. I just moved to Florida this past weekend, and went to exchange my TN driver's license for a Flordia one. I was wondering why they were wanting the names of all of my blood relatives - and they said living or dead, it didn't matter. :D

@Chanak:
It seems that I cannot escape election fiascos. I used to live in Florida, the state that doesn't know how to vote, and now I live in West Virginia, where there was in the not so distant past a considerable debate over how long someone had to be dead before their relatives couldn't vote on their behalf any longer.

Well, it looks like Mah is going for it.
When does the voting end, BTW?
Icewind Gate II Improved engine, third edition rules and the full BG2 storyline.

Anything is possible.
If there are enough people who still have to vote.
So far... it's a close one! (perhaps we'll need to recount the votes again and again. :D )

I was *seriously* thinking about giving poor ol' Bloodstalker a sympathy vote, but seeing as how he has been...missing.... for the last few days, I had to fight the urge. Something must really be yaking him away from the computer - he would never give up the chance to become a mod. :confused: ;)
