Stuck (spoilers)

Post by Eriks »

I am in the ice temple second level and I have no idea how to progress. I have entered all the areas I can but have no idea how to work that blasted battle squares thingy. I also spoke to Nickedmeus (spelling?) but when he upgrades me to fight the entity nothing happens (I dont know how to get to him). Any help would be very welcome.

Have you been in ALL of the areas on this level.

Are you well acquainted with the painting of kuldahar?

this is vague but it is a good place to start.
Crush enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of the women.

I have been to all the areas I can enter yes and have tried all the options on the painting to no avail. I can go into this one room using the painting which I otherwise can't (something about shadow prevents me from entering it otherwise) but there is nothing in that room except an entrance to another room which is trapped (wierd trap just keeps pounding at whoever tries to get in) and it is unaccessable.

keep looking closer in the room you're talking about. there's more there. EMBRACE THE SHADOW.

I could just give it all away but subtle hints are better. Perhaps someone else will wander in and just spell it all out.

You've definitely missed something in the "shadow" room though. got a rogue???

Well, if you want it spelled out.....

In order to open the altar room, step onto the shadow, then quickly off. that opens the secret door. Then proceed to the northernmost door of the prism. There is a mirror there you must turn to the west. point the prism north and fire it. that will open the door to the altar room. Set the Caged Fury free and voila. Just make sure you stay out of the way of the whirlwind.

I"m not a fan of the puzzles either, i don't blame you.

If you don't like the puzzles, either buy the strategy guide now or put the game up and quit playing because they only get worse.
Jesus saves! And takes half damage!

If brute force doesn't work, you're not using enough.

Oh, I've already found that out, but I"m also stubborn so quitting isn't an option.
