Golden Saints

I am lvl 45, I have been... Many places on the map, I have played Morrowind about a month. BUT I have never even seen a Golden Saint! I know you all talk MUCH about constant effect enchanting, and that it's only Golden Saints that give that. Where do I find a Golden Saint?

To obtain constant effect items, you may use either a Golden Saint or an Ascended Sleeper. If you went to Ald Daedroth to get a new home for the Ashlander tribe, there were several there--the NPCs called them "gold hats". If you go to Daedric ruins, there are Saints a-plenty. To find Ascended Sleepers, just wander through the area around Mount Kand.

You can also simply summon golden saints via spell. One of the merchants in the televanni areas (sorry, though... I've forgotten who and just where they are) sells the 'Summon Golden Saint' spell.

I got some from Ald'ruhn Mage's Guild. But when I summoned one, I could not soul trap it. I had to trap the "real" Saint.

I've soul trapped dozens, if not hundreds, of summoned golden saints without problem.
