Last room in ice temple...(spoiler request)

Post by jdougan1 »

I really hate asking for spoilers - but alas, I am stuck and getting frustrated.

I have cleared all of the second level of the ice temple - including killing all 3 sisters and clearing the altar. One room remains - it is immediately south of the main entrance to the level, and has a lock which is frozen over and a tree branch inside. I have tried everything I can think of - including all of the "painting" options.

My guess is that this is something really obvious, since I haven't found anyone else with this particular problem...

Thanks in advance...

As I recall, one room was only accessible by rearranging the mirror north of the lightning machine, while two others were only accessible via the painting on the first floor.

As I thought - this ended up being pretty simple.... probably due to my playing the game too late into the night.

It was the painting - I just failed to notice that a new option had been added after killing the last sister.
