Kitten with no name...

I wanted to write and thank you all for your generous suggestions. We did share most of them with the kitten. He actually liked Gwally, but I didn’t feel he was skillful enough with double entendre to live up to the legendary reputation of such a name.

Unfortunately, we have a Merlin in our lives, or else that would have definitely been a candidate. We took Chanak’s suggestion and did not mention the name “Chanak” to the kitten… since we do not have a kitty defibrillator at home in case his heart gave out.

He didn’t care for Minsc but he did like Boo.

In the end, the top two contenders were Ginkgo and Nimbus. Neither fit perfectly though. There was something about Nimbus, though, that led to Myst and even to Scayde, since he was very silent and very smart. But finally, he sat up and told us that he felt his name was… Shadow.

I too have recently aquired a kitten, fierce little female which hisses at her food. no really, she does before she eats it. Black with orange and brown highlights. Name required.

um…. Premenstrual?

I once had a kitten named Chibi....

She had 7 brothers and sisters! Her sisters were Sasami, Ryoko, Wasyu, Ayeka, Kiyone, Mihoshi, and her brother I wanted to name Tenchi, but my mother insisted on Mittens.

Oh yea! You named the kitten after me! Hell yeah.

I really hoped that "Chii" would be the kitten's name, after the character in Chobits, but it was not to be. *sigh*
