[Question]The bonus in the hell
[Question]The bonus in the hell
In my data, some bonuses got after putting the Tear of Bhaal on the "eye", like constitution bonus, become red numbers, instead of white numbers in my character record. Even worse, the numbers showed in ShadowKeeper are the old numbers (numbers before bonuses). Does it mean the bonuses got in the hell are temporary? If not, how to solve it?
They are permanent. It just makes them red for some reason unknown to me.
Shadow keeper won't see it, but they are indeed permanent.

Cartoon Law III
Any body passing through solid matter will leave a perforation conforming to its perimeter. Also called the silhouette of passage, this phenomenon is the speciality of victims of directed-pressure explosions and of reckless cowards who are so eager to escape that they exit directly through the wall of a house, leaving a cookie-cutout-perfect hole. The threat of skunks or matrimony often catalyzes this reaction.

The bonuses you receive in Hell are affects applied to your character, which you can see with Shadowkeeper. The base stats remain unchanged. A stat like WIS, for example, will turn red if it's higher/lower than its base stat. This happens with Anomen when he receives his knighthood.

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

That's how I learned that his wisdom boost was an applied affect.

The benefit to these being effects not base stat bonuses are that they are added to any additional bonuses. For example if your base STR was 12 and you wear Gaunt. of Ogre Power your STR is still only 18/00. However if your base is 10 with applied effect of +2 STR wearing the Gaunt. you have 20 STR.
