Hi all!

Why is Yqoug attacking me? The first time I played the game, the Bargest Whelp gave me a quest.

does the talking character have diplomacy? i suspect u need to have at least 8 or more CHA.

If he doesn't initiate dialog before attacking, you might have inadvertently harmed him or his lackeys with some wayward spell effect or summoned creature.

Dialog is initiated but then he attacks. My Paladin is the one conversing with him. He has a Charisma of 18 and 7 or 8 Diplomacy points.

could it be because of the paladin? mebe the lawful good alignment prevented any bargaining with a barghest.

Thanks! That was it. I used a Lawful Neutral character. Probably any character with a "Good" alignment would not have worked.
