Also, anyone know what happened to the Ironworks Forum? (I hope nobody minds me mentioning other boards)

I too have not been able to access the Ironworks BGII forum or any of the Ironworks pages for that matter. Furthermore, on the Dragons Breath Forum I saw the posting from yet another refugee. Any idea what happened?
Oh well, I am sure I will find this board to be as helpful as the Ironworks board. Hello one and all!

I don't have any problem with other boards being posted or talked about as long as I don't see post saying so and so site is better.

@Weasel: I didn't mean you in particular. I don't think it would be apropriate to post a link to that other thread but it started just as this one (with a simple question). Correct me if I'm wrong.

I agree it wouldn't be a good idea to post a link to the other thread. I was just saying what my gripe was about . I don't believe the other one started with a simple question , but as Flagg said I will leave all that behind us.

I'm sorry to hear that the Ironworks hasn't been available, but I hope that you can find the BG2 information and discussions you're looking for here in the meantime. No harm in discussing other forums here, variety in Baldur's Gate sites is a good thing.[/QB]

I just mentioned the Ironworks site since I noticed a lot of BGDungeon "orphans" here.
the Dungeon, Ironworks, and Talon's Place have all met with flame-wars and spamming.
I'm glad that talon's Place was able to weed out the trouble, and are back. I just don't want to see the same thing happen here.
It's frustrating to develop friendships and then see them disappear just cause you never got anyone's email addy...

I am new too and also a refugee from 'other' boards...Glad to have found this one! One of the good things about boards closing is that it leads to other ones that I might not have checked out. I kind of like to think of it as part of the BG II gamescape... different dungeons...different names...but still something is familiar!
