How do you kill balor in underdark

I have never had this much trouble, no matter what strategy i use he just freezes everyone and kills them all, and if any of my peeps do get free they can't do any damage, because he's immune to anything i throw at him. does anyone have any idea what to do?

I had troubles too...
lots of troubles...
...
untill I turned into the Slayer...
then I wasn't the one with troubles...
