I hate what they've done to the specialty mage's opposition schools in HOW!
My originally brilliant conjurer in IWD was destroyed by HOW - he can't cast any cool invocation spells like fireball or cloudkill ... does anyone know how to revert to the old tables in IWD without removing the expansion? Thanks
Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but do ranger/clerics not get both druid and cleric spells? I dualled mine at 6th level with HOW installed and she didn't get any druid spells.

There doesn't appear to be any way to change the way wizard schools are handled in the game.
In IWD:HoW, ranger-clerics gain druid spells based on their ranger level. Your PC should have at least gotten the first-level druid spells like Entangle - though she won't gain any more.

There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...
What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

I find that quite intriguing, RE the prohibited schools.
