Morrowind main site?

Post by Ragin Cajun »

Any help? Just got Morrowing today for Christmas and am ready to roll. Want to get any patches (etc) but the site is coming up only a black/grey screen.

Thanks for any help.

Hmm. Bethesda's Elder Scrolls site is pretty awful for going through downtime regularly, but as I type this it is currently working.

Alternatively, most mod sites carry the patches as well. I think http://www.morrowindfiles.com does.

How old is your computer?

You seem to have many problems which may involve upgrading. Make sure you have Internet Explorer 5.5 (I don't recommend version 6.0). You can check your version by starting explorer, clicking on the "Help" drop down menu and clicking on "About Internet Explorer".

Try going to http://www.windowsupdate.com which should let you know of any upgrades available for your system. Pick and choose which ones to download. If you are using Windows 2000, I would NOT download Service Pack 3. This may seem Greek to you now, but you will understand if you go to the site and review the available downloads.
