Guidelines for moving around

Post by Ragin Cajun »

I have the Official Guide...but have no idea how to get to other places. Not other cities...found the Silt Strider ramp. But I wanted to explore some dungeons and areas around Seyda Neen (first area). Can't seem to get ANYWHERE...Seems like I travel forever but never reach the extreme outlying areas to the West. Any help? (Might be because my area map is not working...I've posted about that in another thread).

The first 'dungeon' is immediately outside Seyda Neen. IIRC it's pretty much just across the road from the silt strider ramp. Look for a wooden door in the hillside - that's it.

... and when I look at you I think, if I were a psychopath and we were standing on an extremely high cliff above a pounding surf that would drown out your scream ... well ... you know ...

Don't worry, you have a new character, which means, it is really slow. My guess is it would take at least 6+ hours to travel around the paremeter of Morrowind with an early character. (Unless you know what you're doing). So know now, you eventually get up to a "bearable" speed, but until then you have to deal with the unbearable

It's not so much the time factor...it's figuring location. Using the map in the cheap book...I expected to have to travel quite a while. When I finally decided to look at the world map, I was halfway to Balmora.
