Nerano manor key

Post by De_Priester »

I need to steal this key but whenever I try and pickpocket one of the two with the key they notice. My sneak level is 47 or so (did this by paying a trainer mind you since I'm a fighter) I also used my cheese set for 100% chameleon but still whenever I steal something "HELP GUARDS !" o and then I try and steal it cuz then I end up with nothing at all.

Any tips ?

and yes using the sneak button and getting the icon but no effect.

Since the head of the Moonmoth Fort wants these "bad people" killed anyway you may as well just taunt him into a fight and kill him and all the others and take the key off his body. Its best if you taunt the blacksmith near the door first and kill him so he doesn't help out his friends. There's also one of them down the ramp by the two bedrooms - I like to taunt and kill her before tackling the other 3 goons. The club owner is also Commona Tong (but not one of the bad people) so if you taunt and kill him as well you can use the club as your base in Balmora. There are two more Commona Tong thugs on the roof, kill them if you like as well.

mmm ok I'll kill him then. Didn't want to kill them up front since killing someone is kinda permanent and I dislike ruining quests by erasing someone :P

Thanks AGAIN for the info maybe sometime soon I can repay the debt.

BTW, you may get that key for a bribe if you are on very good terms with him (what also might be achieved by bribing) up to the moment you ask him about "Nerano Manor" (or something like that). Just being rogue do not mean all must be stolen or robbed, there often are more subtle ways ;) , killing is the excess measure with irreversable effect.

However there's at least one reason to let him live a while :) At the moment i'm doing this particular thieve job i "do not know" i may have to kill them all anyway. I have hard suspicion on the smith upstairs (since i've seen his victim and spoken with people around), but i have nothing against the others save their unfriendly attitude :D
And, from the other, "hunterish" point of view: those Camona Tong guys may be still too hard at the momement you've got the Nerano manor job.
