The mainland. Jutland, I think it's called to you Americans. I lve in Aarhus, the second largest town in DK; 250,000-400.000 citizens... That tells something about the figures here

We have many islands, Sjælland being the biggest one (were the capital is located), and Fyn the second largest island in DK,

Hmmm...yes Ive heard of Aarhus...maybe because in a Civilization II scenario, I actually created a map of Denmark among a few other select countries, and of course, I had to create the cities, so I ran across that city. (Other countries I did- Japan, Great Britain, Mexico and the Carribean (That was a nightmare...all those ISLANDS...), and Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Burma-that whole area. It was fun to do, and thats why I intend to go into geography as a major)

Oooh yeah, you can't get around them. Besides, this country is so small you have to visit them sometime...

Other than the big ones (Sjælland and Fyn) I've been to a island called Anholt (means: Arrestet

) also Langeland (longland) and Falster (uhh?)

Anholt is creepily small and isolated. There's one town and a harbour. They are not stuck together, how lame that may seem

, Also, there's a camping place wich is really great. No luxury or anything, but a great beach. Very shallow keeps on going for, i think 500 metres into the ocean before it gets really deep.

The other two islands I can't recall anything about. I was 3...

This year i'm going to Bornholm. The eastern-most island in Denmark. Besides a little lame one three miles away from Bornholm. We have a tradition of going to France or Italy, every other year, and the other years we stay in Denmark and see some of the things you have to know about DK

Hmm...sometimes its the smallest islands that are the coolest. I had lots more fun in Bermuda then I did in the Bahamas, and Bermuda is smaller.

If you ever get the money, GO TO BERMUDA!

I really know nothing of the scenery of Denmark...just the geographic location, shape, and names.

I'd love to go to Bermuda and i plan on getting rich so it should be possible

Well, the location is in Scandinavia ... uhhm.... Under Norway, east of England, west of Sweden, and north of Germany. The shape is propably a little hard to explain. Look for yourself here:

My favorite Island is defenetaly Anholt, mostly because of the size, and the fact that there's about 3 cars on the entrie island. The second time I was there it was so windy my tent got ripped up, and i had to take the boat home, to get a new one. And this boat is not very big, actually, it's really small. It's rocking and wobbly and very funny... I can't get seasick so I always enjoy the trip home immensly.

Car is overrating, really. It's tractors...

For snow-shoveling and stuff. There are some roads... (one i think) Besides, the locals don't like biking i think.

I forgot there's a desert too. It's man created, though un-intentionally. On the isalnds very north-eastern part, there's a lighthouse, wich needs fuel. Now, back in the old days, this was wood. So the remowed the wood of more than half the entire island to keep the fire burning. This created a genuine desert, with all the sand and stuff. Impossible to grow anything in... That shows how stupid people can be.

Ah well. I know what people do, its normal practice.

Its funny...my chemistry teacher said, the US uses coal instead of nuclear power plants, because of fear of big accidents. So we use up a tremendous amount of coal. So then one student asked, what happens if the coal runs out? The chem teacher said, well...we're screwed. Then the student asked, how long will it take before the coal runs out? The chem teacher said, Well 300 years or so. Then the student asked again, is the government concerned, or will they do anything? The chem teacher said, absolutely not. We're not going to be alive when those 300 years are up. Let them worry about it.

So stupid.

I also don't think humans will live to see 3k if we continue going this way. But may be there will be a big breakthrough on some level in science.
