I'm just a little bored with the current storyline. Luckily I'm writing my way out of it.

Running on-running into the sun,
But I'm running behind!
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
Whats with the sig, Kayless...its actually..*pause for dramatic effect*..serious. *haunting music plays*
“Caw, Caw!” The call of the wild calls you. Are you listening? Do you dare challenge their power? Do you dare invade? Nature will always triumph in the end.

Hey, it was bound to happen eventually. Do you recognize where it's from?

Hmmm... You've never seen Prince of Thieves, only saw LotR just a little while ago... You're not big on the whole Medieval fantasy thing, huh?

Not really. I never really got caught up in midieval times...I really like the bronze era though.
And if its in the desert or the cold tundra lands, then I like it, no matter what time frame.
I just dont like midieval times or futuristic times....though Planet of the Apes....man that series is kickin'!

Myself, I can't get enough of the old swords n' sorcery genre. Hence DCI.

Deserts... blah! Too sandy and depressing.

The first one was good, the rest were kind of iffy.

Heh. Swords are cool, and the mid-east style midieval times are cool. I dig the whole Arabic scene. I just dont like the knights or peaceful grasslands...ICK! Fall or spring! Give me the extremes of the temperatures in gaming! Heh. I mean fantasy is cool and all...but when we talk about medieval times, I think of the art and the crusades...a bunch of "ICK" in one.
Grasslands....blah! Too dull and casual...
Oh come on! I loved the 3rd and the 4th of the series...heh. I watched 4 hours of it yesterday before the superbowl. Not the best series out there, but still there were good ones. The whole idea of the race was started because of a time loop boggles the mind.

I don't mind the extreme cold (or else I'd have killed myself by now ) but deserts bore me. All bland and sandy and hot. Give me a place like Edoras or the Shire!

The whole idea that a movie about talking monkeys spawned a sh!t load of sequels bogles the mind. As people often say with the Highlander movies, there can be only one... or at least there should have been.

Sands are cool. It makes you feel away from civilization, yet if theres a sand city, then youre not really that far off...just sort of feel it. And the general looks of Arabian culture are just gorgeous. The grasslands are too common...boring...repetitive.
Heh. Breaking forum rules eh? Heh. Well the sequels werent all that long...an hour and a half, and they all shown a different and unique part of the story. Kind of piecing it together....

I don’t like sand. It’s coarse and rough and irritating, and it gets everywhere. Not like here. Here everything’s soft... and smooth... Like a baby's ass!
Come on, you don't find these settings cool?

What, the sh!t thing? I've been doing that for years, and I ain't gonna stop now. I think they made that rule because of me.

The first one was like a feature length episode of the twilight zone. After that it was just beating a dead horse... er ape.

British Columbia's got all that (sand, grass, forest, mountain, snow) except the Arabian culture
"It's not whether you get knocked down, it's if you get back up."

True. Mountainous regions are cool, and ruins and jungle are also cool. It doesnt matter what the climate is to think its cool. The first shot is ok. But nothing Id want to venture around in a game. If the place is uniquely different (hows that for redundant) then, yeah, Ill probably like it. But if it has such similarities to the land around here, I dont give a rats arse. I want to play a fantasy game that they take me to a place Im unaccustomed to seeing. And those simple grasslands dont cut it.
Granted. I think having 5 movies is a bit much, but they were enough to keep my attention...something the Matrix couldnt do.

I dunno, having a hobbit hole in the Sims would be pretty cool.

Yes but what if there are wonderful creatures wandering around the grassland? Like Hippos... with wings... and uh, funny hats. That would be cool.

Cue incredibly surreal mental image of Dr. Zaius fighting Charlton Heston in Matrix style action…
