Stronghold Question

I was just wondering: If I have a Stronghold, and I leave some equipment in some container in there.. wil my equipmen then disapear ?? I constantly find myself hauling around tones of maybe-usefull stuff...

I know it is possible to give all that crap to a NPC that I don't want in my parti and leave that person in my stronghold but it would be much cooler if I could just leave it in there without fear of it wanishing

Just put your stuff in a chest or something alike. If you drop it to the floor it will vanish after some time, but it is save if you put it in some container.

There are some exceptions: If you are in an area which changes after a completed quest then all stuff from chest, tables etc is gone. Example freeing de Arnise keep from the trolls: if you put items in a chest before you kill all trolls and free the castle, then these items are gone after you complete that quest. But after that it is save to store equipment there.

actually with de Arnise keep that is not the case.. after you finish freeing Nalia, you can get back into the keep.. i had put the bear needed for the poor lil ghost boy in a chest in the keep and had thought i lost it, but went back after freeing Nalia and could get in the main gate and got the bear!!

I never tried storing things in the keep before getting it. But all items which were originally in the keep (not only the flail but also gems etc) are gone if you dont pick them before claiming victory.

in the keep you can drop things on the floor and I never had them vanish. since it's your castle and the only invasion is the Roenall guy (who I have yet to have invade) yu shouldn't have to worry about it.

Be careful when you store in your stronghold. If you by some reason lose the stronghold you can't get the items back (haven't tried it - but so I've heard)
