Post by Scrable »

if i have my mage cast improved invisibility on my thief, can he still backstab over and over again or will i only get one backstab chance and have to cast again? :p

I'm pretty certain that won't work; the first attack by your thief would be backstab, but once he attacks, his presence would be "known." Improved Invisibility is useful for preventing mages from casting directly on your thief, and attacks on the thief have a penalty; the improved invisible character also gains a bonus to saving throws, IIRC.

The only way that can work is with Mislead I believe.

Yes, but Mislead can only be cast on Self, so you would have to have a Mage/Thief. Of course, you could use the potion swapping trick, but there aren't that manny Mislead scrolls.
