stuck in ravel's maze (possible spoilers?)

after Ravel forced to kill herself, all the portals in the area teleported me around Ravel's maze, instead of letting me leave the area. i'll propably just reload and find my way out of there before anyone answers, but i was just curious, why did that happend? anyone else had the same kind of troubles?

The exit portal is in the upper right hand corner of the map.

yes, and as i explained, that (and all the other portals...) portal just teleports me in one of the other two portals inside-the-ravel's-maze.

reloading didn't help... something left to do? ravel is dead, after a long talk, and shadows keep storming in.

Sorry, my memory is hazy, but you have to get a lock of ravel's hair or something (check where she died).

You don't need any item for the exit portal. That's just to get into her secret garden. If it finally worked for you when it was equipped it was just a coincidence.

The reason the exit portal wasn't working for you may be because you don't just go right through the portal that's already there, you just stand near it until a dialog comes up, and only after that go through the portal.

Also, if you're not the same class you were when you entered her Maze the portal will not open.
