ok, i've determined to get thru the asylum, but theres no exit and i think ive been everywhere lol

That's not really giving enough info for us to know how to help...

Unless you can provide more information about just where you are in the Asylum (e.g. which level of the dungeon? who have you talked to/fought so far?), you may be better off looking through the SoA Walkthrough on this site for pointers on exiting the Asylum (there are only two ways).

Try go out the way you came from....... it usually is a good idea... or you might want to talk to a stone head..... they're usually quite smart about that kind of thing

Giving some horns back to the minotaur might also solve your problem......
