Hello, i really need help from some kind person...

Hello, i really need help from some kind person...

Ok, so i've played until i came to the 4:th cloakwood area where the video with the qyvern is, but the video freezses and then i get a bg.exe application failed message...

Is there somewhre i can dl the video file or make it so that the game skips the video?

Any help is warmly welcome! :)

try to press "esc" or a mouse button to cancel the video....

and if that doesn't help I'm sure someone here knows where to get the file...

I've tried to hit every single button on this damneble keyboard, but to no help... same with the mouse...

@Vintersorg, if you have Tales of the Sword Coast installed, be sure to have the latest patch :) If this doesn't help, try disabling the movies in the game by editing your baldur.ini file. Go the the section labled "Program Options" and add a line saying "Disable Movies=1" anywhere in that section. All plot advancement is done through in-game cutscenes so you will not miss any plot points by disabling the movies.

Thx for the help!!!

I did as you said and tried it again... i've done a full install, yet when i try to enter that area teha game tells me to insert disc 4, and says it's removed from the drive. So i did so, and the movie played anyways...

Don't know whats wrong :(

Still thx for the help...

Edit: After the vid freezes, i get the message

"Run Time Error
E:\Program Files\Black Isle\Baldur's Gate\BGMain2.exe
Abnormal program termination"
Blah... nothing for me... :)
