I originally was going to have this huge melee with a bunch of gnoll reinforcements but then I realized that it would be 90% action with little room for comedy. Since DCI is not a comic book, after all, I decided to go with a short fight scene and leave room for laughs too. ;)
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Damn....Bea makes for one fine monk. :D And I mean fine. ;)

But if you could have orchestrated a big melee that would have been cool. I mean you got in the laughs which is cool. Image but also remember youre basing it one adventuring and adventuring has big melees here and there :D

Still, a cool episode. Dont think Im bashing it...I like giving my 2 cents, thats all. ;)
“Caw, Caw!” The call of the wild calls you. Are you listening? Do you dare challenge their power? Do you dare invade? Nature will always triumph in the end.

When I get around to the dungeon's climax I might do a longer than normal issue (like #67). I have some cool fights I'd like to do (Won't be very funny, but it will look cool). If it's what the people want... :cool:

Awesome ep, Kay! ;)
Love the gnoll talk...

Thanks. :) Gotta love those gnolls (even when they're getting kicked in the face). ;)

First it's Castor's hair, now it's Bea's foot. It seems fate is getting in the way of your peep show (that, or I don't want to make the comic NC-17). :D

When you're as small (and cute :p ) as a kender there's no such thing as a peep show... :D

On a serious note though...

...I checked out some of the top ten websites and I must say, they use sex and tons of swearing as a selling point. For some it's not really the artistry of the comics but the plot and dialogues... :rolleyes:

...you're on the right path, Kay... the Middle Path *thinks of Buddha's teachings*...

...yeah, before I go on talking like a Zen Master, I would like to tell you...

...you're doing a great job. :cool:

Youre absolutely correct, Mah. But my generation has become immune to such sights and find it more comical or suitable for them. Thats why they are popular. Most in the top 10 are garbage. Bottom line is that sex sells...but Kayless is excluding that, and I say good for him. I find it refreshing that there are still a few comics that dont stoop to that level, include DCI. :cool: And its still funny...clean funny...euh...for the most part. ;) Now, what would be more refreshing is to get a clean comic like Kayless' in the top 10. So lets keep voting! :D

...in one sentence?!!! :eek: :D

But of course, you're right. Kay's DCI is refreshing for a change. :cool: Image

Thanks for the support. If it wasn't for you guys DCI would already have descended into all nudity all the time! :D

Yes, show your support. Vote (while Top Web Comics is currently working). :D

Hey, that gives me an idea for a new slogan. Dungeon Crawl Inc: A refreshing change from the other piddling web comics out there.
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.

"if it wasn't for you guys". the cruel, cruel irony

Of lying epitaths their secrets keep,

I should put a little plaque on the site that says "Thanks to these folks, there's no nudity in DCI" and then systematically list you guys. :D
