Murders in Bridge District (***Spoilers***)
Murders in Bridge District (***Spoilers***)
Is there a way to finish this quest "correctly" without guessing that the Tanner did it? I know once you kill him you find out, but something tells me you should know this before you attack him.
The prostitute tells you the material that the killer used was frequently used by Tanners, so I go talk to him and he is clearly avoiding the issue and not helping (I feel like Lenny Briscoe!). I cast detect evil and he is evil. I then try to go down the stairs next to him and it says 'You cannot go down the stairs with him standing there watching'. So I go back outside, drink a potion of invisibility, go back inside by myself and I get the same message when I try to go downstairs. Aren't I invisible?
Anyone know how to get down there without killing him first?

It might be worth checking Gamebanshees, site for info on this, but sice i am in a typing mood then here goes:
The inspector tells you of a homeless beggar who might have seen something find him pump him for information pay him the 100 for a animal hide, and you should have all the info you need, there is more to this so i won't ruin the suprise

Hehe, I never have enough money
Though, to my surprise, I finished the game with >300k gold after the first time (I didn't have the extra shopkeepers though). And btw. you can't tell me that you had enough money when you encounter the beggar the first time, or did you?

Bordin mate looks like you never use cheat on your money. For some guys who prefer to cheat i recommend using shadowkeper editor than BG2 cheat since u can really configure everything as u wanna using that editor.
BTW i try killing Reijek on his house after i cornered him with the evidence but it seems he can't die. Some times he slipped of and makes me gotta play a quest on Trademeet. Any idea why ?
Also have anyone ever try telling the Liutenant about the evidence before u raid the tanner ?

First of all...
No, I AM DEFENITELY not a cheater.
I tried to kill Rejiek, too, but it has something to do with the quest that he HAS to escape. And yes I have told the inspector about it before the raid. Then you find his body in the "strange" box to the right after you went down the stairs. If you bring the body to the government disctrict you will get a reward and xp (don't know how much though), and the "best" thing of all is, when you have Jaheira in your party and she's already cursed. Then you will find a cowled wizard standing outside the "government house" (damn I have a bad memory) and realize that he is one that the Baron, who cursed Jaheira, had ordered to kill you when you meet him. Here you will have some choices. You can pay them the small sum of 2k gold and get 20k xp to let the wizards kill him when you encounter him, or you can pay them not to be there when you encounter the Baron, or you can say that you don't want to make an agreement with the kinds as them to fight them when you meet with the baron. I chose the "kill him" option this time (I didn't meet them the first time) and it will be an easy game to get rid of the Baron i don't know which option is the best, but the "kill him" option is the most healthiest. I don't know with the xp part, but if you choose to fight them all (3 cowled + the baron) you will surely get some more items.
