Doofy Umar Hills questions.....

Post by King In Yellow »

I have a good alignment party.......

I have the skin from the Tanner.....

I was talking to the guy who sells the books...(who the Tanner was supposed to meet to get his skin made into armour.....)

I guessed his name wrong......I guess I will never get the skin armour, but does it matter? I doubt I can even use it......

Also I bought some bastards swords for the kids to the north of the town but they made it seem like I did not. Does this really change anything.....

Also I have been carrying Neb's head around for about a million years. Who do I give it to?

Tanner Quest: you should have saved, before buying the book. But that matters little, since you play a good-aligned character. The leather armor, once completed, is a leather armor +5, but it can only be used by evil characters. As a sidenote: to complete the armor, you need the blood of a Silver Dragon. There's only one, and if you're good-aligned, you'll help her out on something - you don't kill her, so you can't get the blood. After helping her she disappears for good. I don't know if a Thief could pick-pocket the blood off her, though (remember, the blood is just an item, which the Dragon would have in its inventory!).

Swords: Did the kids run off with the swords you bought? And did you really buy the three BASTARD swords, and not long swords?? If they ran off with the swords, you can find them again in the cave where you also obtained the blood for the mage.

Neb's head: Go to the Government District, to the Government Building there. Talk to the man in front of the statue at the opposite wall of the door through which you came in.

Alternate for Neb's head: Save it for the Troll Altar in Spellhold. I don't know if it will do anything, but it's worth checking out and all you get for turning it in is some gold and reputation.

For an evil character: Is it worth to complete the Human Flesh? Is it a good armor?

If you read the entire thread, you'll see that I wrote in my answer, that it gives you a leather armor +5, only usuable by evil characters.

Whether or not that's good for YOUR party depends on what other items you have. Note that you can only get it after passing through the Underdark - that's the first and only place where you can obtain the required blood.
