Amen!... :)

Let's start another subject instead. Any predictions on who will win the Champions League?!?

They need to pull themselves together now, if they want to have a shot.

A bit premature, no? They havent even examined him yet.

Toronto has greater problems then that, though. Gilmour isnt their only starter who will be out for an extended time...Mogilny, and Roberts will also be MIA for the game against VAN tonight...

But beyond that, who knows how long the players will be out...playoffs now look a little more serious to the Leafs now.

Mogilny will be back for monday, thats already been announced. Roberts is only out with a groin injury, so he'll be back within the week probably. Gilmour, though, has a knee injury, and at his age, he might not be able to come back.

Well, I just watched ESPNEWS, and they report Gilmour will be out 4-6 months, I believe...so its not a career ending injury, probably, but it certainly isnt beneficial, and has really put a dent in the Leafs playoff hopes.

In College Hoops:
UNC loses to Duke
Vermont and Central Michigan will make first Tourney Appearences
Old Dominion makes the cut, wins championship, in tourney
Louisville defeats UAB in a nailbiter
OK defeats Bob Knight's Red Raiders
Dayton defeats Temple to go to Tourney

In NFL news:
Looks like Jeff George still wants to play, he will be in interview with Vikings

Falcons get Williams from GB

Pace wants STL to trade him

Jaguars get Hugh Douglas

In NASCAR news:
Busch race rained out. Rescheduled to Monday 11 am.

Then you got mislead. There have been too prognosis'. One is 4-6 weeks, the other is career ending. I hope it's the first one...

Does anyone bother looking at Jeff Georges history? How does he continue to generate interest?

Oops...my bad...sometimes my memory fails me...4-6 months....4-6 weeks...I only missed one word. :p

It would be a shame if his career ends...but thats what they said about Stevie-Y (Steve Yzerman), and look where he is...back on the ice, playing with the league's best team, IMO.

EDIT-@BS He could be a cheap QB to play 3rd string or something...or maybe the experience he brings with him...hes played for so long he's got to have a bit of knowledge for the game :D

He doesnt have much left...there are plenty better QBs out there, obviously...not sure why he generates interest from teams...

And hes been everywhere, it seems...over a long period of time

Actually they have been preparing themselves for a final push into the Champions League. They are resting their main players for the majority of their Seria A matches. ;)

WOW! All I can say is wow...

How close is .002 seconds? What can happen during that time...well thats how close the win was for Maine's Ricky Craven over Kurt Busch in today's Darlington 400. (as pictured above-yes...that IS the finish of the race shown) Possibly the best finish in all of racing's history in the last 10 years, at least.

They wrecked into the wall 2 laps to go, but still kept battling, until they came off turn 4, when Craven went to the inside, and Busch went to the high side. Busch, who's power steering was on the fritz, fended him off for most of the straight-away as they banged and beat eachother...

The just about wrecked at the start/finish line, with Craven winning by .002 seconds.

Im telling you, this was the most exciting stuff Ive seen in my 11 years of being a sports fan...and Im talking about any sport.

Hands down...this was totally awesome! :D

More pics and race analysis will come later.

Well March Madness is officially here, and championship week is over. Take a look at the Bracket, and please comment, if you are a fan. Id love to discuss the upsets that are eminent. Notable schools that didnt make the cut are Texas Tech and BC....Poor Massachusetts is only being represented by Holy Cross, who will play mighty Marquette first round.

For those who want my early pick to who is going all the way, its gonna be Kentucky....My final 4, right now, looks like: KY in Midwest Division, ARZ in West, UConn in South, and Wake Forest in East....Ive got a couple upsets in there...I dont believe OK or TEX are worthy for #1 seeds. The South and East look a little soft in comparison to the Midwest and West divisions.

But again, Ive got to emphasize the NASCAR race: .002 seconds! Come on! Thats increadible! :D

I was also into the AC Milan line....before they played Real Madrid...
True they had already advanced to the next round so they did not have as much too play for but still I was a bit disappointed.

Therefore right now I believe Real Madrid will win, (that is if they make it from their group of course).... ;)

HA! I must say your post came as much of a surprise to me. Good to see youve got the KY wildcat spirit...its been a while since Ive seen you this excited about a team. Hell, Ive NEVER seen you this excited. :D

But, this is their best shot at a championship in a while, and I really think theyve got the best team in the NCAA, and the kids there dont let it get to their heads. Theyve played spirited ball games all season, no matter how tough their opponent is, and they are really deserving of a title. Id give it to them.

But, I must go for the only MA team to make it to the dance, and while they are a long shot, and I mean a LONG shot, I got to show my spirit. :D

Go Crusaders! :D

So, BS, what does your tourney bracket look like....what are your upsets? Final 4?
