BG2 Players : Where are you all From?
BG2 Players : Where are you all From?
Ok peoples, I was just curious to know where you guys and gals are from. And how you got involved in RPGS
I am 25, male, and from the Island of Barbados in the West Indies ( I bet most of you are saying "where" now )
I used to think role playing was for wierdos, but I went into a computer lab a few years back on campus and saw a friend of mine playing something he called a Mud.
I asked him what the hell he was doing. He told me and I tried it out (just to prove what a waste of time it was ), and was hooked ever since.

I live in Clearwater, Florida, USA. I am 32 Years Old. I just started playing BG2 about 3 weeks ago, however, I am not new to RPG. I started playing AD&D when I was about 9-10 years old. In the early '80's. But, I haven't played since then. However, I have all the old (1st edition I suppose, since I've recently learned there is a 2nd Edition now) books (Players Manual, DM Guide, MM 1, MM2, Fiend Folio, Deities & Demigods) and the dice sets, etc.) I also have dozens of pewter figurines that I painted as a young kid that arre boxed away somewhere. I am really enjoying this game, and reliving some of my childhood in Role-playing. I love it.
I'm from Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia .BG2 was my first RPG game (was more interested in RTS games before )

Maybe you should play BG1 first so you can double the excitement. If you have not played it yet.

Hey everyone. Cool thread - it's pretty neat to see how spread out across the globe we all are, and yet still managed to find our way into this fantastic little forum...
As for me - 27 from Ottawa, Canada.
My first real experience with a roleplaying game would have to be Dungeon Master on the Atari ST. The horror... the horror...

There are some (new) Europeans on this board too!
I'm 20, and from Belgium. My first cRPGs were the Eye of the Beholder Series. AS for PnP, it was AD&D.

It may seem like I'm doing nothing, but on cellular level, I'm really quite busy...
