River Caves Help

Post by Buckaroo »

Hi there,

I'm stuck at the entrance to the River Caves. No matter what I try, the White Dragons kick my butt. I've tried everything I can think of and just can't beat them. Any advice on how to beat them or how to get around them would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Urm the only advise I can give you is thread lightly and focus your attack on one enemy only. The place is crawling w/ wyrms too. U better send one of char in stealth to scout ahead.

Yes, that is a tough fight. Like KidD01 I focused on one enemy at the time and I used a lot of summons to keep the others busy.

Thanks for the replies,

I finally got through it by killing one beastie then stepping outside to heal and back in for another and so on. I'm beginning to think that my party is a little light on tanks, what do you think I've got a ranger, paladin, druid, rogue, cleric, sorcerer. I think if I decide to do the game again, I would combine the rogue/ranger and add a monk or Barbarian. The spellcasters don't seem to be as powerful in this game as they were in the BG series!

You can always change your ranger into fighter/ranger when the time for leveling up. My party has 3 tanks IIRC : a paladin, a barbarian & a fighter/ranger. How many tanks you desire is related with your playing style, only you know how many tanks is enough ;)
