Using scripts

Is it possible to use scripts like CreateObject and CreateItemOnObject to make certain items appear while playing in the single player campaign? If so, how?

Essentially, no. As far as I am aware, the single player campaign is not open to edit, however, if you did want to introduce items for your character to use, I suggest this:

Export your character either at the end of a chapter or just after you have started, after this, design a blank module where you place any item that you may want on the ground, save the module and import your character into the module, collect the equipment and then export your character again. After this, you can introduce your character back to the game at the chapter you left off of. For instance, you completed the prologue, and need some armour, you can re-join back at the beginning of chapter 1.

If this is just to get your hands on some k3wl stuff, it'd be easier to make a new module with nothing in it but an empty area, drop all the k3wl stuff in there and "play" that "module" with your character before continuing the single player game.

EDIT: Right, I see Nippy beat me to it.

Leaves me to say that yes, you can edit the single player modules. You just have to rename them to ".mod" files first, and back when you're done.

Thanks for the help, but more specifically, I was looking to create Aribeth's Ring back in my inventory, since it disappeared at the beginning of Chapter 3. The ring isn't an option when editing a module. I tried updating, even, manually, but something doesn't work. So I was looking for a way to get her ring back. Off the topic though, I tried exporting a character, but none of the equipment gets saved, just the basic stats. And when I import, I'm back to level 1. Any suggestions?
