Made a possibly irreversible mistake??

Post by Jhim »

I am quite far on in the game, but decided to go back and finish off some of the thieves and fighters guild games. I progressed to Captain in Thieves Guild and was doing the first Job for the master guy in Vivec and I saved just before going into the Corner Club where I was to ask about Nads the guy who had gone missing? I have a bad habit of just using the autosave as my main save, and I hadn't turned off the option for saving automatically when sleeping. To cut a long story short I went into the corner club and tried to do something someone didn't like and ended up killing everyone in the bar, it was a mess, but I thought I'll just start again with a load, but after leaving the club and messing around a bit i got carried away experimenting and the game told me to rest, so I rested and the game saved on top of my main saved game. So now I have no idea how to find out if Nads is dead and how to get the key off him, is it possible to still complete this task, if so what do I need to do??

please help :(

I think you can still complete the quest. The dead body of Nads is in one of the Vivic cantons, either St. Olms or St. Delyns. Just enter all the appartments until you find him. Be sure to check on both levels. I think in my last game I found him even before getting the quest from Gentleman Jim.

I would change the 'save when resting option', too.

St. Delryn's, south side 2. You only need the key to complete the quest.

There is Tribunal, Bloodmoon, Firemoth and a host of mods. Personally I have completed MW twice.
