Where is Mae Vars Strongbox? Cant find it for the life of me.

Strongbox? I suppose you mean his Thieves' Guild?

It's in the Docks District, somewhere near the center of the map.

no, I mean where you do all the missions, you go talk to Edwin, and he has this key for a strongbox that contains proof of mae vars treachery.

Have you checked you journal. I think it stands there where it is. I cant remember
exactly where it was, but I had no problems with that part of the game. If you have done all the quest for Edwin, try talk to the Shadow Thief Chief.(the one you are doing the quest for). Anyhow, check the journal, im sure it says what you are to do...

Go to the second floor in Mae'ver's guild, the north room from the entrance has a little tiny itsy bitsy box. You'll find it just left of the entrance, it looks like a couple of drawers.
