Alignment Specific Items

Post by Troll Slayer »

Warning.......In order to answer this question you would have had to completed approx 90% of the game. Thus, read no further unless you have gotten past the forgotten world.

There are several alingment (dark/light) items for jedi throughout the game. I was wondering if a jedi player who has a large amount dark points can equip a light only item. At the temple in the forgotten world the player is forced once and for all to pick the dark or the light. I am sure that after that point a dark jedi could not equip light items. I was just wondering if before that critical moment in the game those item restrictions still apply. If they do, what is the limit towards the dark side that a player can travel before he cannot equip those items?
Best to remain silent and thought a fool, then to open ones mouth and remove all doubt

You can only equip the items if you are of that alinment, good or evil, or what side of the force bar you are on. If you are border line (neutral) you wouldnt be able to use either Light or Dark. You can get Force Net Shifts but as long as you are still in the majority of what alignment you want to be there wouldnt be a problem...I hope this answers your question
.......is it crazy in here or is it just me??

When ever your alignment is far into the light or dark side on your screen where it shows you the option of level up or auto level up your character will get extra "light" behind them my guy is all the way light so he has glowing blue light behind him and I believe this is what allows alignment sensitive items to give you their effect. you may be able to equip your character with the Solari crystal if he isn't in the dark area but I believe that you don't get it's effect until you get that glowing blue light. (but I could be totally wrong)
