Item transference

Post by fable »

Any way to transfer inventory items between party members, save by dropping 'em in and removing 'em from your chest back in the hideaway?

What? you have one inventory for all and you just equip your party members from that.

I have been equiping my main character from her invintory, but when I try to equip from the main invintory it says I can not do that. Also, how do you equip your other party members?

I think they share a common inventory, @Scayde. You go to the second or third screen in that list from START (oh, for PC-based mnemonics!), then unequip an item that somebody is wearing. After that, you hit BLACK, and equip it for that party member.

If a character on the ship is equiped with an item, then that item will not be available to you off the ship. Unless of course you take the character with you. The way around it is to un equip characters just before you take them on the ship. That way whoever you take with you has access to everything. I know its a long way around things. But it works

Actually, the items you refer to won't be so much unavailable when you leave the ship; they simply won't be listed in your inventory items. This applies as well if a character is rendered unconscious in combat: there's no opportunity to use the items they have on their person, because the items vanish from the joint inventory screen.
