I probably will not be able to make the draft tomorrow night, but I've set my draft order and the computer will pick for me, right?

I only set my top 20 or so picks in order then I got tired. Hopefully I will do my draft completely but its at 8 or 9 PM so idk. Has the draft order been established?

Draft order gets chosen randomly about 30 minutes before the draft by Yahoo...(I got no say in the order :D )

The computer will draft according to your rankings if you're not around to make the draft yourself :)

I set about 200 players up in my draft order and it was quite interesting the difference between the way some other sources had players ranked and how the Yahoo! site did.

Also, is this a trade or waiver wire-only league?

Trades are legal, and players dropped from teams have to clear waivers before they go back to the free agent pool. The waiver length is a 2 day wait after release.

@Gwally, check your PM's

@Thug, all you can do is create your team and set up pre-draft rankings until the draft tonight. :)

You just set it up based upon who you would like on your team, based upon ranking them? BS teach me the ways..

Okay, my team is on board "The Knaves", and looks like we will be going up against Da Bears in the first week, followed by Duh Jedi Knights the next. I don't know about the Bears, but I am fairly sure that I will coach my team to victory over the Knights, leaving HLD crying like a baby into his Gatoraide. :p

Yahoo has it's own defayult ranking list. You can edit this list, and rand players according to how you want them drafted...for example, if you want Ricky Williams more than anyone else, you make him number one, and when you come up in the draft order, if Williams is still available, it will draft him, if he isn't, it will move in order down your list to the first player still available and draft him for you.

All that is if you won't be at the live draft. In all honesty, it still helps to map your list out, as even if you are drafting live it puts all the players you want to draft in an easier place to get to them rather than having to look by positions for each pick.

What I do is wait till about 20 munites before the draft and once you join, there is an option to queqe up yet another list. I usuall load up my top 30 or so choices there, and while the draft is running, I keep adding to it according to what position is getting cleaned out. Usually, your initial list dissappears pretty quickly through the first few rounds, cause everyone wants the same players, and since you only have 90 seconds to make a pick, it helps to take the time other people are drafting to organize who is left. Like I said, players go quick, esp at certain positions like RB.

If you don't make a pick by the time your 90 secs is up, a pick will be made for you based on your list.

If the draft is automated (due to a missing coach), will the computer try to fill in specific roster spots before filling the bench or will I end up with 6 kickers and only 1 WR?

How/when do you trade?

Being a Chargers fan the only guy I really wanted in this draft was LaDainian Tomlinson. I had the eighth pick and ESPN had him rated as the top fantasy pick and no league would dare rate him lower than number three. Still I somehow managed to get him at number 8, so to those of you who passed him up( except maybe those who picked 1st and 2nd) TSK TSK TSK. :D
