i dont get it.. how do ppl keep playin this game? it's so... boring. i dunno.. i'm just alittle frustrated at moving my guys around and such. cant wait for NWN. i've tried going at it alone with a warrior.. that got boring.. tried going at it alone with a mage.. that got deadly.. then i just said screw it cuz it's pointless.. unlike p&p u cant take all this with you and move over to another realm. and wuts more pleasing than realizing that u've just spent 100 hours playing a game which now is just takin room on ur hard drive and then the massive realization that ur save games are worth naught a copper? man.. i shud really be more optimistic, but these are some thoughts to ponder while ur mage is casting magic arrows for the 100th time this day. :)

Thats Magic Missiles, not Magic Arrows :p

Yes, ofcourse everyone is waiting for NWN... but its not out yet, so the next best thing (BG2) will have to do for now :D

and going alone with a warrior or mage is indeed very boring... try a more "colourfull" class... like a Paladin (kit) or an Assassin and have a NPC party with you... much more fun

"and wuts more pleasing than realizing that u've just spent 100 hours playing a game which now is just takin room on ur hard drive and then the massive realization that ur save games are worth naught a copper?"

do you mean that there are games that have savegames that are WORTH something?

BG2 is no ACTION game. If you really like RPGs, you really like BG2 Its as simple as that.

i dunno if i liked BG2 or not.. i just really dont know. it was fun, i had a blast (literally in some cases). but then i got a cd-key for half-life and i discovered the wide world of CS.
