About the bugs and such in the game...
Question: How avoidable are alot of the bugs/crashes? I've heard it may vary by computer and hardware, but I was wondering about this before I get the game. Sure, a patch will eventually come out what's the word on the game so far? I wish to enjoy it the most I can when I get it.
Yes, I still haven't gotten it yet, and I've been reading about bugs and such on the Atari boards for what are problems and solutions to them.
All I need to know, right now, is how prevalent they are overall.
Too Quiet! Anybody have it yet?

Galuf,
I've had the game only crash to desktop twice. It was a drag but I save often. Also, my CTD did not take play during the crafting of an item. I know that is a chatted about bug but I haven't actually created a weapon yet.
In fact, I'm pretty happy with how this game has run. It's performed as well as most other games so far.
I would say make sure your drivers are updated for video and sound cards; check the atari forums and maybe their web site for documented hardware incompatabilities, and last...download the demo and try it out and see how it plays.

Crush enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of the women.

I finally got mine to work by moving the refresh rate to 60... who knew? I tried every setting but that one.
