Silent King

Sorry to bother again but I solved the Xachariah dilema but now face another. I have completed the quest to eliminate Soego but now Hargrimm wont give me the speach about putting in a good word with the Silent King and I also haven,t received 7500 exp either. I am anal in that I hate to move on without getting this.

How could you have talked to Xachariah if you are still stuck in the Dead Nations?

This quest was completed before I turned in Soego. I had a save point that allowed me to do so. After I talked with Mary I simply walked out and did it. When I returned I outed Soego then got some experience for that but I never got closure in that I was never told that Hargrimm would put a good word in for me with the Silent King. I again simply walked through the doors on the way out and continued on to the point where I returned the orb to Pharod.
p.s. I just found a book based on Tourment and was wondering which came first, the game or the book and what relationship was the author to the developers?

The reason you want Hargrimm to talk to the Silent King for you is to let you out of the Dead Nations. If you are already free and no longer a prisoner there is nothing for Hargrimm to say to the Silent King about you.

The book was partly based on very early documentation of ideas for the game, and was released at about the same time as the game. The stories turned out pretty different.
