It comes out today right? Does anyone have it and would care to share their thoughts. You probably just can't pull yourself out of the game because it is so awesome!

It hasn't made it out of QA yet, but is close to going gold. See the black isle boards:

ok this may seem like a stupid question but what does the term "gone gold" mean & what does it have to do with when a game is released.

"Gone gold" means that it has started being pressed to disc, so is complete and there will be no more changes to it.

I pre-ordered it from Chumbo, and they have changed the ship date to 6/4.

It won't go gold until the 7th, earliest, and that's not a firm date. I've been told it would be 2-4 weeks after that for actual retail release.

I think the term comes from the master disks being a gold colour...
