choosing a sign
choosing a sign
hello every one bubbles here just have a question for everyone right now i want to choose a sign for my male imperial monk and am stuck between the astronach or the lady. the astronach gives very nice powers and abilities but it stunts my magic while the lady on the other hand gives very good bonuses to personality and endurance but no powers. i am using the monk class given by the game not my own. if anyone could help me it would be greatly apprieciated.
If only mankind could see the error of there ways then maybe reedemption could be possible.

The Lady's bonuses are really helpful when first starting the game but they don't stack past 100 pts. If you have 30 starting pts on personality then the Lady sign will boost it by the amount of the bonus but it will not boost it past the 100 pt max as your char progresses. This is true for quite a few of the sign bonuses. On the other hand The Atronach and The Mage bonuses will always be with your char. IMO these are the only worthwhile signs in the long run.

Go with the Atronach. Buy Restore Magicka potions or raise your alchemy skill enough to make your own. This is one of my favorite signs (it's almost cheesy).
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...
