New user (spoilers)

New user

Got the game for Christmas, not a wizard with this stuff. I've searched everywhere in the first "level" and can't find the "keys" to get through the portal(s). Don't know how to use crystals either. I welcome cheats and spoilers (I'm not a young guy!) All in all, I think I did okay so far, released the genie and stuff. Thank you.

The key for the portal is in the room past the dryads that gave you the genies flask. What crystals are you talking about?

That would be "her" room, I couldn't find the key or if I did I don't know how to use it. The crystals are what makes the glass jars work(?) Got them from Fretz(?) or someone like that. (That's how I let him die.)

The key is, indeed, in "her" room.

Those crystals just let you talk to the creatures in the room full of jars. All they tell you is that the key is in her room.
