It works as follows:
Character name (one word please): Pretty self-explanatory. Just post all the rolls for your character under the same name, and give me the link to its data.
Number of Dice: The number of dice to be rolled. Since the roller adds all outcomes, you can only roll rolls wich are separate separately (I.E: if you have to make 3 attacks, you need to roll 1d20 three times, not 3d20)

Modifier: The modifier for your roll. For example, your bonus to hit or your will save bonus.

Now for some examples

History: A group of wandering musicians found him as a baby near the remains of a caravan and took him as their own. He spent his first thirty years as the son of the whole group and showed great skills as a bard, but he preferred to play and display his "magic" tricks (nothing magical though, just card tricks and suchlike). All was well for a while, but then the group's, luck began to fall and when the debts began piling up the group made a hastily departure. The local loanshark did not appreciate this and sent a couple of mercenaries their way. Alastor was getting some supplies when they were attacked and was the only survivor, he followed the mercenaries in the shadows and they led him to the loanshark. He waited and attacked the moneylender when he was sleeping in his house, killing him.
Alastor fled the town and after a while a small adventuring party took care of him and showed him some of the wonders of the world and Alastor became a master in the arts hiding and staying out of danger while his adoptive parents were battling. After a while he got bored with staying behind and left the party in Baldur's Gate. He got accustomed with city life and liked the sights and sounds of the city, but when he reached the age of 70 he again got bored with his surroundings and began travelling from town to town, treasuring the contrast between the active citylife and the beauty and wonder of the world.
Personality: Alastor treasures friendship, but is a bit afraid of committing. He likes variance and will often change his ways, attire and appearance.
He does not bare hate and grudges but serious relationships seldom last long. He prefers the company of humans over elves, as the elves are too much set in their ways, but loves being with halfelves, as they have best of both worlds.
He makes friends easily but has the tendency to move on after some time, but he never ever forgets his old friends and pays them a visit once in a while.
He loves life on the road, and has an eye for interesting sights. It will take a lot for him to settle down for longer than a couple of months.
Appearance: He dresses in loose greenish travelling clothes and wears a leather armour, his rapier Quickstrike is sheathed in a ceremonial scabbard and on his belt are a dagger and a handcrossbow. Aside from them he seems unarmed, even unpacked, but his Bag of Holding contains most of his stuff, the rest is concealed on his person.
With his green eyes, blonde hair and fairly great height for an elf he is a striking figure and is very easygoing.

A couple of things, /-\lastor:
Evergleam should be 4000 gp.
Your light load is 26 lbs, and the bag of holding alone is 20. You might be better off puttinh everything on a donkey
When fighting with a bladed boot and another weapon, you incur all the penalties of two-weapon fighting
Oh, and standard gear is more like 20 gp

He got accustomed with city life and liked the sights and sounds of the city, but when he reached the age of 70 he again got bored with his surroundings and began travelling from town to town, treasuring the contrast between the active citylife and the beauty and wonder of the world.
Personality: Alastor treasures friendship, but is a bit afraid of committing. He likes variance and will often change his ways, attire and appearance.
He does not bare hate and grudges but serious relationships seldom last long. He prefers the company of humans over elves, as the elves are too much set in their ways, but loves being with halfelves, as they have best of both worlds.
He makes friends easily but has the tendency to move on after some time, but he never ever forgets his old friends and pays them a visit once in a while.
He loves life on the road, and has an eye for interesting sights. It will take a lot for him to settle down for longer than a couple of months.
Appearance: He dresses in loose greenish travelling clothes and wears a leather armour, his rapier Quickstrike is sheathed in a ceremonial scabbard and on his belt are a dagger and a handcrossbow. Aside from them he seems unarmed, even unpacked, but his Bag of Holding contains most of his stuff, the rest is concealed on his person.
With his green eyes, blonde hair and fairly great height for an elf he is a striking figure and is very easygoing.

I put my level 4 ability point in dex instead of int and made evergleam +1 dex instead of +2 and adjusted the cost of the SAG.

The roller is really quite simple you follow the link, fill in your character's name (remember always use the same name), the number of dice (for example hit points, as we are level 5 you use 5 dice), the number of sides of the dice (4 for a d4, 6 for a d6, 8 for a d8 etc...), the modifiers (for example you have 5 base attack bonus and 16 strenght, to hit you fill in 8, as 5 plus 3 equals) and then you note what the roll is for and other comments (this is optional).
Then you click "add result to database" and copy paste the link and results to the boards. (you may want to use the [[url]http://[/url]] button in the post reply screen of this forum.

You must include a note, it is not optional as the roller says. If you don't include a note, the roller will not work.
Alastor: I think you made a typo with your HP": you rolled 5d6+1, wich should be 6+4d6+10, so 4d6+16 remeber, max hp at first level.

GOD-FREAKING-DAMM, I always make that mistake, even when making 1st level characters.
Allright I adjusted the hp
btw my base con was 14 but as Alastor's elvish it becomes 12 and thus the roll is 4d6+11 (6 base +5 for con)
edit: Typical, when I've got a higher chance of beating the 25 hp I roll an 18
ps Mr.Waesel - Jeroen, ik en Frank willen ook een internet campaign starten, voor de mensen waar we niet egt vaak meer mee dnden, maar we willen wel minstens 1x per 3 dagen inloggen, waarschijnlijk vaker. Heb jij regelmatig internet? Dan kunnen ze hier meedoen, als je dat inloggen niet haalt kunnen we er missgien op de wizz boards een starten, natuurlijk kan jij ook meedoen. Als iemand dan 3 dagen ozzow gemist heeft is zijn char effe een DMPC ozzow.

Explain a bit more please, like, if i wanna role my strength, what do I role? What Dice roller do I use? Please help, I play d&d every 2 weeks but it's stopped for a while so I want to do it online! Please could you explain in simpler terms for me! lol!
