a couple of quick questions. is there any way to repatch neverwinter nights to the version before the hordes of underdark patch. the game has been unplayable since i patched it. Also, do you have to own the expansions to play a downloaded module. Any reccomendations on good modules to play.

Well, you could always reinstall. I'm not sure where, but there are probably places you can download previous versions of the patch.

As far as modules go, yes and no. When you download a module it should say whether or not it was created with the basic toolset, SoU, or HotU. If it was created with an expansion toolset, you'll have to have that expansion installed to play it. There are alot of good modules out there that weren't created with an expansion though.

I really enjoyed the Shadowlords series and its sequel series, Dreamcatcher, by Adam Miller. It's a cool story line, the modules are well constructed, and you can start a new character and play them all the way through nearly 15th level. Cool henchmen too.
