Merchants gold?

Does the amount of gold Merchants have update or once you have bought them out, there is no use going back to sell things to them. If so, how long does it take until they have their gold back?

WAit 24 hours for their gold to replenish
I used to hate going to weddings because the old people would always say,"You Next! You Next!" Now I go to funerals and tell them the same thing.
