i need help in the very beginning of the game

i am in the first dungeon where you begin the game and i have gotten the activation stone but i dont know how to use it to control the sewage golem can you please tell me how to use it and thanks in advance

talk to the golem. A dialogue option will come up to use the activation stone.

I already tried talking to it but it says that the sewage golem appears too busy to talk to.

*sigh, you have windows XP, or something like that..
you'll have this problem with a lot of NPCs...
SO...
Go to Bioware games and dload the patch, depending on if you hae SoA or ToB. Remember to Dload the newest patch btw

I have encountered the same problem with XP(and the patch from Bioware)
Some NPC just seem too busy to talk to for no reason, but after I load the saved game, it goes back to normal.

hmm I think you need to Dl the ToB patch to fix this particular problem, maybe not but thats the one I dled.
Sometimes though, the NPC really is busy in some form or the other
