that doesn't excactly make sense since the clerics need the same freedom of movement as the wizards, but on the other hand they would suck if they did as clerics dont have the powerhouse of offensive and defensive spells as the wizards have.
<worksoufy> man i need to eat
<Trak3r> that's "yoda" speak for "i need to eat a man"
"they would suck if they did as clerics dont have the powerhouse of offensive and defensive spells as the wizards have."

summon undead
i am playing back through the game in HOF mode and the summon undead spell is the single most used spell i have. by the HOF time, even the most explosive wizrd spell pales beside a good apocolyptic boneguard in power. summon up six of those fellows and you have a walking armynot that you still can't be demolished...but they do make a good front line assault.
Clerics do not need the same freedom of movement that a mage/sorceror needs. If you think about it: for a mage to cast a spell he/she has to say the words, do some weird hand gestures(for most spells), and occasionally even mix some ingredients or just throw them in the air, or something along those lines. Cleric on the other hand only needs to speak/pray to his/her god asking for a particular spell to be granted. The most gestures a cleric might have to do is point in the direction where he/she wants to cast the spells at.
