Who said u could do the main quest as a vampire?!?!?!?

Post by Findecáno »

I've read alot of threads and many people have said that u CAN do the main quest, but its hard...... And i see no way to do it as a vampire. In one of the first quests, when u've jsut gotten the skull for the orc in the mages guild, and are supposed to report back to the spymaster. He kills u when u talk to him (when ur a vampire). So how the hell can i do any missions if i can't speak to the spymaster??????

You should be able to finish the main quest using the 'quick' method, which can be found here

if this is your first time through don't try to do the main quest as a vampire it will distroy the game for you. Its better to get Bloodmoon and become a Werewolf. Mainly because you are a normal man during the day and a body shredding Werewolf afyer the sun goes down each night. That way you can do the quests during the day and get paid and collect treasurs and then after the sun goes down you can hunt down anybody that bad mouthed you and rip their bodys to shreds and a Werewold can kill a wimpy Vampire with just two or three slashes of your claws.

Just don't ever let anyone see you as the sun goes down or the gig is up and everybody will know your a werewolf because you change everynight into wolfie . Then everybody will lay in wait for you when the sun comes up and you change back into a man and they will kill you fast as a man.

Nope. This game gives you complete freedom. Finish the quests in any order you like.

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Not as a vampire, no. You'd have to get yourself cured of that, first.

Do people try to kill you because you are a vampire?

Please don't spam the forums. I've answered your werewolf question. Yes, guards are prone to attacking vampires. You'll also find it impossible to complete most quests (without a plug-in) as a vampire.

It'd be too hard to handle certain aspects of it. But I think the East Empire quests may be doable. It depends on the player.

To be or not to be a Vampire

First do you have any save games from just befor you became a Vampire? If so I would go back to that point and start from there as a normal PC and continue the game from there. You say that you are only level 9 and that is not very far into the game I have three seperate games going on at the same time rangeing from, game 1 I'm level 63, game 2 I'm Level 87 and I have completed every quest possable in main and both expansions, and in Game 3 (my werewolf game) I'm level 45, so to only be level 9 is just getting started in the game. This week I am going to start a whole new game and you being at lvl 9 is not much different so if you can go back a couple levels it won't hurt you, that is if you really want to get rid of the Vampire portion of your game.
In fact starting over is not that bad from what you have learned so far you will be able to make a better character with better starting stats and make it back to lvl 9 in almost no time.
I'm Going to try A Battle Mage PC this time it's something I have very much wanted to try for awhile.

Good luck in what ever you deside.

sorry to say this but you only had three days from the day you first were bitten (during the Werewolf attack at Skaal) to get the cure. once you turned into a werewolf you remain a werewolf and there in only one other way to be cured and here is a spoiler on how to start to find the Cure and then never again turn into a werewolf again.

S-P-O-I-L-E-R #1

it is said by an old rumour that there is a cure and you must find this rumour to get you started on the quest to end the curse.

S-P-O-I-L-E-R #2

There is a note named OLD RUMOUR I found it laying beside Bask-in-the sun down at the Fort Froetmoth dock. The note says that a large black raven has been seen at the altar of thrond and may be a sign that the Witches have come to the island. When you read the note the location of the altar of thrond will be marked on your map. go there and talk to the raven.

from here on you are on your own unless you really get stuck.

These spoilers that I have give you were given to me in july of 2001 and this is a really tough quest for anyone lower than level 25 but it can be done.

Good Luck
