An easy way to get good Items. :)

I found out a really easy way to steal from somebody, get in good standing with the law, and keep the item.

i.e

In the Balmora mages guild, there is a lady with a spirit trapped in a grand soul gem ( or something like that ) with a value of 60,000 gold.
I took it,
ran out,
left it on the stairs that I ran down,
ran to an officer of the law,
paid 180 gold,
went back got my item
and boom, I have it.

Just wanted to let some people know that if you haven't figured this out already. It works for anything or anybody.

This also works if you kill somebody in one of their shops with no guards, you can kill them, pay you're fine, then loot the shop.

true this does work but it gets annoying having to let go of all of your stuff and then go pick it back up. So, in the end i would suggest not stealing from anybody while there looking it makes things so much easier. Plus even if you commit another crime the gaurds will still take the item even though it has no relation to the crime what-so-ever.

You can steal that item in complete secrecy.. Talk to the Cat-thing at the bottem level of the mages guild in balmora and she eventually give you a quest that requires you to put a fake soul gem into her desk while she comes downstairs to talk to the high elf.. she walks downstairs, you walk up and calmly take all the gems..

. I just kep wondering were that gem was... I thought I lost it or something, or it was a bug.

I'm sorry. The reference to the 'Cat-thing' was possibly the funniest thing I've read all day. Sums up the weird side of MW totally, and its so true, but so...funny. Nice one.
