Read any good books lately?
I rarely pay too much attention to the plethora of books you can find around tamriel, but once in a while i'll flip through one to see if there are any good stories in them. I remember reading one a while back about two thieves that tried to loot some castle. They ended up being invited to some kind of party, but it didn't turn out exactly the way they wanted... The book was called "Tressed" or something like that, & I really enjoyed the storyline.
It got me to thinking about how many books there actually are in this game, and all the work the designers put into making them. They have to want us to read them!
From that point on I've paid a bit more attention to the titles that i found lying around.
Anybody else read any good books lately?

"Yes. Later on, I'd love to."

Read 'The Axe Man', 'Ice and Chitin', 'The Mirror' or/and 'The Gold Ribbon of Merit'. And there are some stories about thieves...read all of them. Unfortunately I don't know the titles...
Ahh, and just by the way...you can find all books on THIS page ( besides all Daggerfall-Books, maps, daedric alphabet and so on...)
EDIT: Alright, here are the titles of the books I mentioned above:
- Chance's Folly
- The Locked Room
- Surfeit of Thieves ( that's the title of the book someone already mentioned => 'Tressed')
There was another one but I didn't find it....

Withershins! That one was very funny.
They spent some real effort and time writing these books. I wonder who wrote them all? In RL, I mean.
Some members of the dev team, for the fun of it. When I worked for several years in DragonRealms (text-based, for-pay MMORPG), I was in charge of the in-game library system. We had about seventy books online, some of them damned long. When I left, we had close to two hundred. Hell, wrote 14 of 'em myself.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

I read a book the other month about a Queen who was betrayed by some close friend? And then there was this big ass war, and the Queen's army was getting the hell kicked out of it. Her army couldnt fight the Evil Woman's Army because her army only operated at night (they were undead, I think) The story ends with the Evil Woman's Army destroying the Queen's Guards and Army, then killing her or taking her captive.. It was a good story.. *sniff*
What a wonderous love it is
To bind two souls in faith,
Chained completely together
With never a false word,
Weal and woe, wish and real,
Woven each together
From first kiss to last breath
First and last whispered in love
Ashland Hymn

Gonna go with Monolith on "The Axe Man" and "The Locked Room". Both leave you to learn disturbing morals.
Also, "The Black Arrow", "Realizations of Acrobacy", and "A Lesson in Marksmanship" were good reads.

Only a true nerd actually reads those books. Ah well, then, as my husband tells me every time we enter into a lengthy discussion on the events and intricacies of Morrowind, I am indeed a true nerd. Has anyone seen "The Wood Book"? It's the funniest, and there's only one.
you know what they say about all work and no play...
It's totally not worth the monetary rewards!!!
