Messing with Merchants

Post by Anonononomous »

Is there any easy way to change the amount of money that merchants have? I really am getting annoyed with having to wait at least 12 days to get my money's worth from Crabby when trying to sell one of my many Daedric Dai-Katanas.

Now, I know it would be simpler just to additem gold to me, but I'd get more satisfaction from selling things.

This is not a answer to your question, but you can download some mods with merchand(s) who carry much more money than the Creeper or the mudcrab. Only they don't give so much money for your items, but you don't have to wait days to sell something.

The mod you want is called Rich Traders, by Jazz Singh. The only thing it changes is the wealth-on-hand of all traders in Morrowind, raising their fund to 60,000 drakes. Go to Morrowind Summit, and search on the mod author's name in the mod database. (There's no way to link through to it.) Hope that helps.

There is also a mod that changes the amount of money Creeper has to 500 K. I know Gamers Roam (http://www.gamersroam.com/) has it, and I imagine it is also available at The Summit.

Just go to either Mournhold or Sostheim. All the merchants there have wayyy more cash than anyone in Vvardenfell.
you know what they say about all work and no play...
It's totally not worth the monetary rewards!!!

Like.. how much waaaaaaayyyyyy more? Is it more than them crab and scamp?
What a wonderous love it is
To bind two souls in faith,
Chained completely together
With never a false word,
Weal and woe, wish and real,
Woven each together
From first kiss to last breath
First and last whispered in love

Try Swampthing's Merchants, too. What I like about his is that he offers three or four separate ESP modules, so you don't need to take everything he offers. One of his mods, like the other I recommended above, only raises the amount of cash on hand for merchants all over MW.
