Imperial Legion Armor Question

Post by owlsight »

I joined the Imperial Legion, and they gave me some armor. Now the armor I have is better. Do I have to wear their armor all the time?

By no means.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Yeah, you just have to hold on to the cuirass and wear it when you're talking to another imperial legion... person. Personally, I hated carting that thing around with me, so when they give me armor, I just drop it right in front of them and pick it up only when I need it.
you know what they say about all work and no play...
It's totally not worth the monetary rewards!!!

Once you become the Imperial Dragon you won't have to wear it anymore. :)

Do you know if you can just wear a gauntlet to satisfy them?

Nah it has to be the curassis. I'm sure there must be a hundred mods changing it so that they don't act like pillocks. I know that I employed the tactic of just leaving it in front of the commanding officer, but then I was in another town and wanted to ask the guards about the fact that I'd just been assulted by some assassins, and was told 'You're out of uniform...' I had to trapse all the way back to Gnisis and talk to somebody there, just to get the referal to Ebonhart.

And when I got there? Guess what? 'You're out of uniform' well.... yeah... it sucks and I have a Deadric Cuirassis so bite me. I'm not sure whether or not the guy in Ebonhart would have spoken to me if I had been wearing my better armour (the one that is 'walking the battlements'), bear in mind that this is my first time with Tribunal, so I'm not sure where he is. I got incredibly hacked off and taunted a guard and killed him, taking his 'uniform'.
