I uhh... accidentally... slaughtered (Hey, he was holding a sword first I tell you!) all the guys at the Cult, before talking to them, is there a way to complete the quest and/or get to the Shade Lich?

I 'accidently'
did the same thing the first time round and you can not ge the shade lich or any of that other stuff - sorry
If you are really desperate you might be able to CLUA:Console the key
I'd have to get drunk every night and talk about virility...And those Pink elephants I'd see.

Yeah, I just slaughtered them the first time around then figured out the only way to get the key was to talk it out of them first...pretty silly IMO.
