Wondering through the temple district near the Radiant Heart, I get stopped by a woman named Miranda, who claims that I am the father to her child, Lanie.

Is anything affected by my response to her? ie romance to Jeheira.

I was not laugting at him, but from the situacion, I play a female character so THAT never happen to me, The detail that was put in this game is truly amazing.
By the way how can You have a chield if that is your frist trip to Anm.

@ Pie Eater : I happen to encounter Miranda too but before she did that con to me he do that con to some priest, so when she try to do that on me i just mouth my way out and get out of her con easily.

What I liked about the con job was when my PC first talked to the girl and she said (not written, but the sound file), "you're a stranger." It was one of those stock sound files that they give to most of the girls in BG II. I would have given her mother money if the programmers gave her a more appropriate sound file -- something like "hi daddy."

The girl is 6 or 7 so.

If you are playing one of the longer-lived species it is possible. An elven youth is around 80, right? But my PC is a half-orc and she didn't look green to me!

You forget, a long time ago, 13 was probably an acceptable age to give birth.

The Character age is 20.period.
it´s Stated on BG I, humans,elfs,half-elfs,dwarf,gnome and halflings are 20 years old. I know a 20 years old elf is not realistic but this might have something to do by being a Bhall spwan.Hell your character maybe inmortal like the seven sisters or chosen of mystra for what we know.

Why does male character have romance with Jaheira, then? I've been wondering that she and Khalid were Gorion's old friends, and Gorion asked them to be guardians if he would be killed. So, Jaheira must be quite older than main character, and romance with Jaheira is like romance with a step mother, don't you think?

We are in 1370 so..
jaheira age is at 23-35 and she is a half-elf, Aerlyn Moonblade (a famouse half-elf fighter)is on her 40 and she still looks to be in her 20.
By the way remeber that Gorion was a Harper and proboly left Candlekeep a few times.
